BlockPicks has been on an incredible journey since launching just 10 weeks ago. We've been working tirelessly to enhance our platform and deliver new features and improvements for our growing community of over 20,000 users. Here's a look at what's new and exciting on BlockPicks:
Notifications
Never miss a pick event again! We're excited to introduce in-app notifications to keep you informed about new pick games, pick results, rewards, and more. We've also enhanced our email communication, so head to your settings to enable email notifications and receive direct alerts and reminders.
Wallet Update
Our wallet feature just got better! You can now send and receive tokens using your BlockPicks wallet, making transactions easier and more efficient than ever. Don’t worry, you’ll soon be able to make use of multiple tokens on the platform 👀
Desktop Navigation
We've streamlined desktop navigation with a new right-hand navigation bar with notifications and wallet features. Easily view and hide this navigation using the buttons at the top of the page. The left-hand navigation can now also be minimised for a cleaner interface. Stay tuned for more features coming soon on the right-hand nav! 💬
Settings Update
We've revamped our settings interface with a new and improved design. You can easily manage your notifications and verification details through intuitive new tabs.
KYC Verification
We've implemented a new verification system to ensure a fair and secure playing field. All users will be asked to enter a phone number when claiming rewards—this is a one-time action. Some users may be automatically flagged by our system for full verification, adding an extra layer of security to prevent and disincentivise platform abuse.
Multilingual Support
BlockPicks is going global! We've added language options for French, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese & Ukrainian. Now you can enjoy BlockPicks in your preferred language. Vamos!
Improved leaderboards
Leaderboards have a much-needed update. You can now search leaderboards and compare your points to your friends. We’ve also added additional filters so you can check your points across sports, games and timespans. When on an event page you’ll now see the leaderboard for the event, with live and up-to-date leaderboards coming soon so you can track your position in real-time during events.
More or Less
Our new game type is live and ready for the Copa America and Euro 2024 tournaments, inspired by the popular pick’em style games in the USA. Simply pick more or less on player stats to win.
Improved home page
We’ve tidied up the home page, providing greater context to new users whilst giving signed-in users a greater experience, with existing and ended games separated, with clearer information on the status of each game.
Improved UFC Picks
We’ve updated the UFC Classic Picks game, with better pick animations, and some UI updates, including a prompt animation on the first pick to guide new users on how to play.
